Leyla Johnson, MMS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) with specialized experience in Otolaryngology (ENT) and Head & Neck Surgery. With a strong foundation in both medical management and surgical intervention, Leyla strives to ensure patients’ concerns are heard, validated, and assessed properly in order to achieve improved health, function, and quality of life.
Leyla received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton, where she majored in pre-medicine with a minor in biology. She obtained her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. Upon completing her clinical training, Leyla worked at Northwestern Medicine where she gained invaluable experience in managing a wide range of ENT disorders including head & neck cancers. She is an active member of the
American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery.
Leyla is involved in the full spectrum of patient care and her role includes conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, assisting in complex surgeries, and providing comprehensive follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes. Her in-depth understanding of ENT conditions, including those affecting the ears, nose, throat, and neck, allows her to collaborate effectively with surgical teams and provide conscientious care that addresses both functional and aesthetic outcomes.
