Same-Day ENT Appointments
Same-Day ENT Appointments in New York City
New or worsening ear, nose, throat, sinus, voice, or neck symptoms can be uncomfortable and concerning. Same-day ear, nose, and throat appointments may be available at Norelle Health for patients who would like a prompt office evaluation.
Secure scheduling is provided through Doczema. Availability changes throughout the day, and an appointment is required.
This same-day scheduling page is for office appointments. It is not intended for medical emergencies. If you have sudden or severe difficulty breathing, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
ENT care when you would like to be seen today
A same-day ENT appointment is intended for new or worsening symptoms that may benefit from evaluation by an ear, nose, and throat clinician without waiting for a routine future appointment.
Depending on your symptoms and the appointment availability, your visit may involve an examination of the ears, nose, mouth, throat, voice box, or neck. Additional in-office evaluation may be recommended when appropriate.
The purpose of the visit is to determine what may be causing your symptoms, whether testing is needed, and what treatment or follow-up makes sense. Same-day availability is not guaranteed; the online schedule displays the currently available appointment times.

Call Now for Sudden Hearing ChangesWhen an office appointment is not appropriate
Some symptoms should not wait for an office appointment. Call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency department for:
- Sudden or severe difficulty breathing
- Breathing difficulty that prevents normal speaking
- Rapidly increasing swelling of the mouth, throat, face, or neck
- Inability to swallow saliva
- Severe choking or a suspected airway obstruction
- Major facial or neck trauma
- Heavy or uncontrolled bleeding
- Stroke-like symptoms
- A severe allergic reaction
For nosebleeds, emergency evaluation is recommended when bleeding does not stop after 20 minutes, follows a head injury, or is associated with a possible nasal fracture.
How to schedule a same-day ENT appointment
View the live schedule
Open the Doczema schedule to see appointment times that are currently available.
Select your reason for visit
Choose the concern that best matches your symptoms, such as ear pain, a sinus or nasal symptom, a sore throat, hoarseness, dizziness, a nosebleed, or neck swelling.
Confirm your appointment
Review the provider, office, appointment time, and new-patient instructions, then confirm. Have your insurance information available.
Prepare for the visit
Bring a photo ID, your insurance information, a medication list, and any relevant prior imaging or test results, along with details about when your symptoms started.
What may happen during a same-day visit
The clinician will review your symptoms and medical history and perform an examination tailored to your concern. Depending on the reason for the visit, evaluation may include:
- Examination of the ear canal and eardrum
- Hearing screening or referral for formal hearing testing
- Nasal examination
- Nasal endoscopy when appropriate
- Examination of the mouth and throat
- Flexible evaluation of the throat or voice box when appropriate
- Neck and salivary gland examination
- Review of outside imaging or test results
Not every examination or test is appropriate for every patient, and additional evaluation may need to be scheduled separately. By the end of the visit, you should understand the likely causes being considered, whether testing is recommended, whether treatment is appropriate, and whether follow-up or another specialist is needed.
