Michel M. Abboud, MD is an otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon who completed his five-year residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he managed the comprehensive surgical and medical care of patients across the full breadth of the specialty.

He completed a Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in New York, developing advanced skills in aesthetic, functional, and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck. His fellowship training emphasized primary and revision rhinoplasty and deep plane rhytidectomy (facelift), under faculty including Drs. Pearlman, Gordon, Rizk, Liotta, and Mourad.

Dr. Abboud earned his medical degree cum laude from the Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, after graduating magna cum laude in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland with University Honors distinction.

He maintains an active interest in research and education. His published and presented work spans rhinoplasty, facial reconstruction, facial trauma, and reconstructive microsurgery, and he served as a gross anatomy teaching assistant at Georgetown University Medical Center during medical school. Dr. Abboud is fluent in English and Levantine Arabic and has moderate proficiency in French.
